For over 25 summers, Camp J has been providing families with an exciting, safe, and welcoming camp experience for families of all backgrounds.

Dates: June 9 - August 8

Location (Day Camp): 10050 Banburry Cross Dr., Las Vegas, NV 89144 (Across from Summerlin Hospital)

Time: 9AM - 4 PM [AM/PM Care Available]

Cost: ~$340/week, unless otherwise specified [Scholarships, Payment Plans & JCC Member Rates Available]

The Schedule

It's time for another AMAZING summer with Camp J! We have the return of half-day specialty camps, where your kiddos can choose (most weeks) between one of two weekly specialties in the morning. Then, after lunch, they participate in exciting and engaging Camp J activities like Jewish culture, cooking, sports, art & improv. Campers will also enjoy our Water Wednesdays, Mystery Fridays + of course we celebrate Shabbat every single Friday.

**NEW** Extra Days at Cowabunga: Unless we foresee inclement weather, during two regular weeks at Camp J, we will be taking all of the campers on a full-day field trip to either Cowabunga Canyon or Cowabunga Bay. We follow standard field trip rules for these days, with a counselor to camper ratio of 1:7, three security guards who accompany us on the trip, a bus that takes us to and from the water park + we will be serving a Kosher-style lunch at Cowabunga (but we can accomodate dietary and/or Glatt Kosher restrictions). The days we will be taking these two trips are June 11 (Week 1) & July 23 (Week 7). There is no pro-rated amount for the week if you choose not to send your camper to Camp J that day.

Week 1 (June 9 - 13): E-Games or Gymnastics [Wednesday: Field Trip to Cowabunga Canyon]

• E-GAMES CAMP: We are kicking off the summer with one of our favorites: E-Games! Mr. Jay is back for the fourth year in a row. During this week, you'll learn some coding and programming fundamentals and play a variety of different video games with your friends. It all leads up to the annual E-Games Competition with a BIG BIG prize for the winner! [max: 25 campers]
• GYMNASTICS CAMP: Get ready to flip, roll & twist for a camp favorite: gymnastics camp! Tumble your way to fun and jump into an exciting week "at the gym." We have balance beams, low bars, mats and more for campers to learn gymnastics fundamentals and have a flippin' good time. Facilitated by Mr. Ryan.

Week 2 (June 16 - 20): LEGO or Theatre Camp [Cost: $290] [NO CAMP Thursday, June 19 for Juneteenth]

• LEGO CAMP: Beat the summer blues with a LEGO camp by Bricks 4 Kidz! Kids will spend their time learning about the world of engineering, animated movie-making and architecture through hands-on building fun. This is the first of two weeks of LEGO Camp - because it was so popular last summer. Let's go LEGO!
• THEATRE CAMP: We're putting a new spin on an old classic. Join us for one week with Miss Savie as she teaches campers about all things theatre from costume design, storytelling, and set design to lighting, makeup and so much more. 

Week 3 (June 23 - 27): Club Invention or Petite Pedals (Biking Camp)

• CLUB INVENTION: Tap into the big, beautiful world of STEM during Club Invention. This is a one-week science & technology camp that is super hands-on, engaging & all about open-ended exploration & discovery. It is run by the nationally-recognized organization Camp Invention. Get ready for a full week of cool & awesome experiments!
• PETITE PEDALS (BIKE CAMP): Signing up for this camp is as easy as....well, RIDING A BIKE! Miss Liz with Petite Pedals returns for a week-long bicycle camp. This year, we will have two groups of riders. Our new riders will stay on-campus and learn bike safety + get comfortable at the wheel. Our experienced riders will go off-campus on a security-accompanied bike ride up to the park and really practice handling their bikes. [Must bring your own bike and helmet. Knee pads and elbow pads are highly recommended. Camp J will store all bikes for the week on-site! NO TRAINING WHEELS ALLOWED]

Week 4 (June 30 - July 4): Camp J On the Go [NO CAMP Friday, July 4 for Independence Day]

• CAMP J ON THE GO: A Camp J favorite - our one-week field trip Camp J On the Go returns! During the week, we take all the campers on a different field trip each day. Bus transportation is provided to and from each field trip location, 2-3 security guards travel on the bus with us and Camp J maintains a staff to camper ratio of 1:7 at all times. Space is limited and we do sell out of this week fast!

Week 5 (July 7 - 11): Cooking or Martial Arts Camp

• COOKING CAMP: Whisk, stir & mix your way in the Camp J kitchen for our one-week cooking camp. During this camp, you'll learn some kitchen fundamentals, develop some recipes & work your skills while cooking & baking some yummy dishes. Bon Appetite!
• MARTIAL ARTS: We are so excited to partner with Gracie Jiujitsu for our first-ever martial arts camp for kids. Your kids will learn some basics for self-defense like blocking, and grappling + they will work on strength, coordination & flexibility. [max. 25 campers]

Week 6 (July 14 - 18): Color Wars

• COLOR WARS: The RUACH STICK is back up for grabs... you know you want it! Will it be the Green Team, Blue Team, Yellow Team or Red Team?? Join Camp J for our most popular week of camp: Color Wars - a whole week of friendly games, competition, songs, excitement and yes... lots of RUACH (spirit!) 4 teams compete...and only 1 team will win! Are you ready for it?

Week 7 (July 21 - 25): Art or Sports [Wednesday: Field Trip to Cowabunga Bay - Henderson]

• ART CAMP: Paint! Sculpt! Draw! Mr. Lucas is leading a one-week art camp where kids can really lean in to their creativity. There will be different mediums used, fun art games + engaging projects to keep you artistically happy all week long!
• SPORTS CAMP: Do you have a kid that loves all the sports? Then this is the week of camp for them! Join Mr. Aaron for one week of our sports camp, where we will be playing basketball, dodgeball, kickball + much more! I hope your kids are hyped for a full week of friendly competition! Make sure to bring your water bottle + hat! 

Week 8 (July 28 - August 1): Camp J Explorers

• CAMP J EXPLORERS: Miss Claire, Mr. Aaron & Mr. Lucas are leading a full week of art, sports, games, playground time, and so much more! This camp runs in conjunction with our Camp J Overnight for those who either don't meet the overnight grade requirements or aren't *quite* ready to be away from home yet. **NEW** AM & PM Care will be available this week! [max. 30 campers]

Week 8 (July 29 - August 3): Camp J Overnight [Entering 3rd - 8th grade | Cost: $750]

• CAMP J OVERNIGHT: The Camp J Overnight is makes its long-awaited return at Potosi Pines for 2025! Get ready for GAGA, archery, basketball, dance, friendship bracelets, s'mores, chofesh and so much more! Plus, celebrate a meaningful Shabbat under the stars, reconnect with your friends from two summers ago (iykyk) and make new friends around the UNO tables! Week 9 (August 4 - 8): LEGO or Dance Camp

• LEGO CAMP: We love LEGO camp so much, we are bringing it back for another week! Bricks 4 Kidz will facilitate this week of LEGO teaching campers even more about the world of engineering, animated movie-making and architecture through hands-on building fun. Let's go LEGO!
• DANCE CAMP: Get ready to get your groove on during this high-energy, multidisciplinary dance camp led by Mr. Ryan. During the week, kids will play dance games, learn choreography and experience different kinds of dance to get their whole bodies moving. 

Scholarships & Payment Plans: All families must submit the required forms to be considered eligibile for financial assistance. You must be a JCC member to receive scholarhsip funds from Camp J. Become a member at www.jewishnevada.org/jointhej. The deadline to submit the scholarship form is April 30, 2025. All scholarship forms received after that date will only be approved on an as-need basis. We are also happy to assist in setting up payment plans - all payment plans must be paid in-full by December 31, 2025. We do not offer sibling discounts, only discounts for JCC Members! 

AM Care & PM Care: AM Care is available from 7:30 - 8:30 AM for an additional $50/week. PM Care is available from 4:15 - 5:30 PM for an additional $50/week. 

Cancellation & Refund Policy

• February - April 2025: 100% Refund
• May 2025: 50% Refund
• June - August 2025: No refunds will be given once camp has begun.
