Learn More About Karin
Growing up in post-WWII Germany, Karin had always wondered about what happened during the war. Her father was a soldier in the German Army and a follower of Hitler. Despite her curiosity, her questions about the war years (particularly the plight of the Jewish people and the Holocaust) had never been answered. After meeting David Sporn, Karin began her study of Judaism with a rabbi. She officially converted in 1978 and married David shortly thereafter. Today, Karin is committed to helping her community. Karin’s journey is chronicled in her book Just Peek Over the Fence.
